About Us

The Gloucester County Emergency Medical Service is the first county-based Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the state of New Jersey, established on September 30, 2007. We are a dedicated organization comprised of professionals with the highest standards for quality and excellence. We are committed to providing dependable, professional emergency medical service to all residents and visitors of Gloucester County.

We currently have a fleet of 35 ambulances and multiple support vehicles. We have 250 dedicated staff members responding from sixteen EMS stations. Our crews operate on a 24 hour 7 days a week basis with power shifts from,0800 to 2000 hours.
