The primary purpose of the Corrections Division is to transport all lawfully detained inmates in an efficient, secure, and humane manner, and provide safety to the general public, staff members and inmates.
Bail for Gloucester County inmates will be accepted at the facility where the inmates are respectfully being housed.
It is the policy of the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office / Corrections Division to utilize body worn video / audio cameras to assist agency personnel in the performance of their duties by providing an accurate and unbiased recorded account of any incidents.

The Labor Assistance Program is designed to offer a court ordered, structured alternative to male and female adult prisoners, which will enable them to maintain employment, provide for their families, continue to be productive members of society and serve a penalty or punitive sanction appropriate to the crime committed.
