(Sewell, NJ)—The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation are offering beginner clinics to residents looking to learn Pickleball.

“Pickleball is taking over as the fastest growing sport in America. Atkinson Park is home to six gorgeous pickleball courts and they have been put to great use since we unveiled them. We want everyone to get the chance to learn and have fun,” said Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger.

Beginner clinic is intended for those looking to learn the game of pickleball. If you never played the game or just played a few times this clinic is for you. This clinic will cover the basics of how to play the sport.

The next session is:
Tuesday, October 26: 11:30am - 12:30pm
Thursday, October 28: 11:30pm - 12:30pm

“Don’t miss out on learning one of the fastest growing sports right now,” said Commissioner Jim Lavender. “Instructors will take the time to teach your game etiquette, rules and form to make sure you’re ready to hit the pickleball courts.”

Space is limited so registration is required. To register visit the Gloucester County Parks and Recreation website or call 856-251-6710.
