The Gloucester County DREAM Park was created to provide opportunities for those who own horses to have a place to participate in shows and competitions, and also as a place to allow the public to experience the magnificence and beauty of these animals first hand.
The land on which this park is constructed was slated in 2000 by the Army Corps of Engineers to be a dredge spoil dumping site, but the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners felt strongly that there was a need for parkland in this area of the county, and a need for a world-class equestrian facility in our region. Today we are proud to call this location home to the Gloucester County DREAM Park.
DREAM Park is also a source of educational opportunities for the equestrian community, those with special needs, and for any individual interested in learning more about horses.
The Dream Park offers boarding facilities with state-of-the-art amenities for 50 permanent horses and also offers riding lesson programs.
Boarding amenities include heated main barn 12×12 stall, stallion heated main barn 12×12 stall, upper Dutch door barn stalls, private turn outs with run in sheds, daily turn out, lighted main indoor arena 150×300, cover all indoor arena, multiple riding ring, jumper training ring, dressage ring, large wash area and matted stalls.
DREAM Park offers Gloucester County residents a 5% discount on board rates.
Lessons are also available at the park through Seahorse Equestrian, LLC. Seahorse Equestrian, LLC was created through the passion of educating children with the joys of horseback riding.
Seahorse Equestrian, LLC’s philosophy is safety. Safety of the rider and horse is considered at all times. We believe all riders, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, should receive the same quality of instruction and attention to detail. The lesson program provides instruction, fun and challenge to everyone from first time riders to those with years of experience. Balance seat riding is used to teach people who are new to riding emphasizing self-awareness, effective use of the body, and understanding of the horse.
