(Clayton, NJ)—Gloucester County announced that the Annual Gloucester County Water Fest will be held on Sunday, June 6, at Scotland Run Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Water Fest is the County’s largest environmental fair featuring animal exhibits, crafts, food and music during the free event.

Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger said, “Water Fest is a fun and educational way to connect with nature and a fun way to learn about our environment. We live in a beautiful region and Water Fest will offer a lot of tips on what we can do as individuals to keep it beautiful.”

This year’s festival schedule includes:

Crafts, Music, Food, Exhibitors– 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bwana Jim Live Animal Show– 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Balloon Animals­­– 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Canoeing and Kayaking 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Interactive crafts
Sunscreen Bracelet, Foam Owl, Bug Craft– 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Lake Study & Guided Trail Walk­­– 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Nature Center Tours­– 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Commissioner Jim Lavender said, “Water Fest is a way that families can make the connection between what they do at home and in their communities and how it affects the health of our local and worldwide ecosystems.”

The event is free of charge.  The Water Fest will be held rain or shine.  Scotland Run Park is located on 980 Academy Street in Clayton.
