[ARCHIVED] Gloucester County’s Pitman Golf Course is open for golf year round

Located in beautiful Gloucester County, New Jersey, the Pitman Golf Course offers players of all abilities the opportunity to have a fun and challenging game of golf all year round. 

This public facility has a regulation 18-hole golf course, a practice putting green, a driving range, a full-service clubhouse restaurant and bar that also provides excellent catering services.  The layout is an original Alexandar Findlay design from 1927.  

“Our golf course is one of the hidden gems of the County,” said Director Robert M. Damminger. “We are proud to offer such an extensive course to golfers across the state. Our course is one of the busiest courses in South Jersey!” 

On January 4, 1994, The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners purchased the 233-acre Pitman Golf Course. The course offers:

·         Clubhouse with Bar and Restaurant

·         18 Hole Public Golf Course w/ Driving Range

·         Pro Shop Stocked Nicely with Merchandise

·         Walking Permitted Anytime

·         Tee Times Recommended 

·         USGA Handicap Service, Club Rental, Men's & Ladies Locker Rooms

·         Special Discounted Rates Available for Residents of Gloucester County

“In addition to the amenities we offer, we also have programs and events for golfers of every discipline,” said Commissioner Jim Lavender.

The Pitman Golf Course is located at 501 Pitman Road Sewell, NJ 08080. Tee times are required.
