RCSJ Mega Site

(Sewell, NJ)—The Gloucester County continues to prioritize 65+ individuals at the Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site. As of Monday, April 26, the site has vaccinated 100,180 seniors.

“Our seniors are our most vulnerable so we know that vaccinations are top priority for them and the site,” said Director Robert M. Damminger. “We’ve done hours of outreach and phone calls through Gloucester County’s and the State’s call center and together we vaccinated over 100,000 seniors.”

The Mega Site also implemented the use of a second building for seniors so they do not have to wait in line. Seniors are now able to receive their vaccine at the Business and Corporate Center on the campus of Rowan College of South Jersey.

Seniors do not have to be scheduled to receive the vaccine. They can show up to the Gloucester County Mega Site anytime between the hours of 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“The Mega Site is now allowing walk-ins. With eligibility opening, the site is committed to vaccinating every individual who wants the vaccine,” said Commissioner Jim Jefferson
