The Gloucester County Mega Site is now open to all individuals who live and work within New Jersey.
“The eligibility opening for 16 years of age and older is allowing everyone who wants to get a vaccine the opportunity to do so. The Mega Site is also opening the site to walk-ins to make the process of receiving a vaccination easier,” said Commissioner Robert M. Damminger.
Eligibility for 16 years of age and over opened on Monday, April 19. Since then, the Gloucester County Mega Site has vaccinated 5,512 individuals 16 to 17 years old.
“The more individuals who take advantage of the criteria opening to 16 years old and over the sooner we will get back to normalcy and the events and opportunities that were put on hold due to COVID,” added Director Damminger. “The site is able to vaccinate over 7,000 individuals a day so come down and get vaccinated!”
All individuals under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian with proof of birth date such as birth certificate.
The Gloucester County Mega Site is located at 1400 Tanyard Rd. Sewell, NJ 08080.
The Mega Site will allow up to 1,000 walk-in appointments seven days a week between the hours of 8 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. In order to have a quicker, easier process, please register prior to visiting the site at http://covidvaccine.nj.gov.
