(Sewell, NJ)—The Gloucester County continues to prioritize seniors at the Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site.
The Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site is located at 1400 Tanyard Rd., Sewell 08080. As of Thursday, April 8, the site has vaccinated 83,773 seniors.
“Our seniors have been the most vulnerable population during the entire pandemic,” said Director Robert M. Damminger. “Gloucester County prioritizes the health and wellness of our seniors, so partnering with the State to get these appointments scheduled is a big help in our fight against COVID.”
The Mega Site still offers the Business and Corporate Center to seniors coming to the Mega Site to receive the vaccine. Seniors must be scheduled to receive the vaccine.
“Seniors are now able to receive their vaccine at the Business and Corporate Center on the campus of Rowan College of South Jersey,” said Commissioner Jim Jefferson. “This alleviates seniors from waiting in lines and provides a quieter space to receive the vaccine.”
Seniors age 65 and older are able to access free, dedicated COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
Gloucester County and the State are partnering with Walmart and Sam’s Club sites state-wide to offer dedicated 65+ individuals appointments to receive the vaccine. To facilitate scheduling at these sites, a senior-specific NJ COVID Call Center hotline will be available at (856-249-7007) from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.
