One Stop Career Center at Gloucester County
The One Stop Career Center is staffed with qualified professionals who can assist with obtaining employment or the training you need to meet the demands of our present workforce. Employment counselors can help job seekers explore career choices relating to their interests and abilities and will help them explore occupations that best utilize their skills in the current job market.

Jobseekers: The doors at our One-Stop Career Centers are open for walk-in visits for career support services only. If you prefer, you can still make an appointment for in-person career counseling.
Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)- Grant Funded Training
The WIOA program provides individuals facing employment barriers with the opportunity to learn new skills and receive job search assistance to secure quality jobs that can lead to long-term careers. We offer funding of up to $5,000 for training programs in high-demand career fields, available through local colleges and other training providers.
WIOA assistance is available to those facing various barriers to employment. You may qualify if you:
- Have been laid off and are unlikely to find a job in your previous industry or occupation
- Have a low income and/or have a family member eligible for or receiving public assistance such as TANF, SNAP, or SSI
- Were dependent on the income of another family member but are no longer supported by that income
- Are the spouse of an Armed Forces member who lost employment due to a permanent change in duty station or is underemployed
- Are justice-involved or have a criminal record
- Are an English language learner, or struggle with reading or writing
- Are disabled and need additional assistance to complete an educational program to secure and maintain employment
- Are pregnant or parenting and under 24 years old
- Are or have been a foster child, aged out of foster care, runaway, or homeless
- Have been self-employed but are now unemployed due to economic conditions or a natural disaster
