Nature Tots

(Clayton, NJ) -- The Gloucester County Department of Parks and Recreation educates children on nature and our environment with Nature Tots.

The Nature Tots program is built for children three and older and provides opportunity to explore something new and unique within nature. The program focuses on one topic per session and includes an activity and craft.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Nature Tots program will be held online at www.gloucestercountynj.gov.

“Our parks system is one of the crown jewels of the county,” stated Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger. “While we can’t be together in person to explore, we are reaching out online to let our residents experience the vast amount of historical and environmental information that lives in Gloucester County parks.”

“We want to make sure our residents are still gaining the knowledge and experiencing the history that Gloucester County has to offer,” said Commissioner Jim Lavender, liaison to Parks and Recreation.  “These online modules will give parents and kids the opportunity to explore just that while they’re home.”

Lesson plans will be shared on the following dates:

  • January 19
  • January 26
  • February 2
  • February 9
  • February 16
  • February 23
