[ARCHIVED] Gloucester County Mega Site continues fight against COVID-19 with vaccinations and testing

(Sewell, NJ)—The Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site has appointments available through May 2020.

To register to receive your vaccine at the Gloucester County Mega Site, please register at with the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System at http://covidvaccine.nj.gov. Once you receive an email to schedule, Gloucester County Mega Site will be an option for you to schedule.

After scheduling, you will receive a QR code to your email that you must bring to you to your appointment. You can print it or pull it up on your smart phone once you get to the Mega Site.

If you come to the site as a walk-in, there is no guarantee that you will get a vaccine.

The Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site is located at Rowan College of South Jersey located at 1400 Tanyard Rd. Sewell 08080.

Seniors age 65 and older are able to access free, dedicated COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

Gloucester County and the State are partnering with Walmart and Sam’s Club sites state-wide to offer dedicated 65+ individuals appointments to receive the vaccine. To facilitate scheduling at these sites, a senior-specific NJ COVID Call Center hotline will be available at (856-249-7007) from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Call the dedicated senior’s hotline to book an appointment at select Walmart sites: For 14 Walmart sites in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem. Residents 65+ should contact the Call Center at 856-249-7007 to schedule an appointment OR

Call Walmart / Sam’s Club directly to book appointments at the remaining sites: For the additional 54 Walmart or Sam's Club sites, residents 65+ can directly contact a nearby Walmart or Sam’s Club to schedule an appointment.

The New Jersey Vaccination Call Center is open to pre-register individuals, answer questions, and provide contact information for sites. To reach the Vaccination Call Center dial 855-568-0545.

For assistance with registering, please contact the State’s hotline at 855-568-0545. Operators are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For individuals under 75, you can pre-register for the vaccine on the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System and you will be notified when an appointment is available to you: https://covidvaccine.nj.gov

Gloucester County is still encouraging residents to get tested if they are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

An appointment is required. The sites will open daily at 9 a.m. at the Gloucester County Clayton County Complex at 1200 North Delsea Drive Clayton, NJ 08080.

You must call (856) 218-0300 to be prescreened by Rowan Medicine. When calling, choose option #1 for Family Medicine then press #1 again to make an appointment.

Call takers will be available:

  • Monday & Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Please have your insurance information available at the time of your call. You do not need to be symptomatic to receive testing.
