Adult Naturalist Program - Late Season Pollinator Plants
Thursday, October 14, 2021
Are you interested in learning more about our local wildlife and how you can help conserve biodiversity in your own yard? If so, join Rowan Professor and Park Naturalist, Dr. Daniel Duran for the Adult Naturalist Program at Scotland Run Park this fall. Programs are from 9:30am - 11:30am every 2nd and 4th Thursday in September and October. Each session will include a presentation inside the Nature Center, as well as outdoor exploration (weather permitting). Pre-registration is required. Call 856-251-6710 to register.
There is an abundance of flowers that bloom in the spring and summer that are both stunning to look at and essential for native pollinators. There are plenty more flowers that are just as beautiful and important that bloom in the fall, and we don’t think they get enough love or attention. If you’d like to know what plants you can use to spruce up your garden from September to November, or how you can help out your local pollinators, come and see us for this lesson.
