Earth Day Event - 4/24
Join us at Scotland Run Park for our annual Earth Day event where we will celebrate nature and environmental sustainability focusing on New Jersey and our local area. The event will feature Gloucester County Naturalist and Rowan professor, Dr. Dan Duran, presenting a talk about how we can help regenerate the natural world starting with our own yards. Exhibitors will be present and will provide more information about how to be environmentally friendly.

Family History Day - Spring Fest - 4/24
It's Spring Fest at Red Bank Battlefield. Come and celebrate spring with us and enjoy crafters, vendors, farm animals, colonial demonstrators and more.

Family Fun Show - Bwana Jim - 6/5
Bwana Jim is an experienced animal handler filled with enthusiasm and wit. He presents a crazy and educational wildlife show. Bwana Jim specializes in reptiles such as snakes, alligators and turtles, as well as other animals such as armadillos, wallabies and exotic birds.

Waterfest - 6/6
The 23rd Annual Water Fest is the County’s largest environmental fair featuring live animal shows, exhibits, crafts, food, canoeing and kayaking. Visit the Nature Center and participate in a Lake Study. Live music throughout Water Fest provided by The Ian Goode Trio.

Movie in the Park - The Wizard of Oz - 6/25
It's throw back June! A young farm girl and her little dog are magically transported into the enchanted land of Oz via a Kansas tornado. As they travel down Oz's Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard and ask him to send them home, they encounter a wonderful, funny, terrifying and, ultimately, enlightening group of characters, human and otherwise. This 1939 award-winning film classic (Best Score and Best Song Academy Awards) is a perennial favorite that has recently been meticulously restored.

Movie in the Park - The Polar Express - 7/16
It's Christmas in July! Moth Night - 7/17
Come take part in our annual Moth Night at Scotland Run Park where we showcase the beauty and diversity of our local moths, many of which rival butterflies in attractiveness! The event will be posted to the Gloucester County website and on the Scotland Run Park Facebook page. Members of the public will learn about how to attract and identify moths at their own houses/yards! Participants can send in their finds to the Facebook page, as well.

18th Century Field Day - 10/24
Enjoy living history demonstrations, artillery drills, cannon demonstrations, and meet Revolutionary War soldiers! Learn about the Battle of Red Bank and why New Jersey is called "The Crossroads of the American Revolution." Tour the battlefield and enjoy vendors, food, and fun! Cheer on the Jonas Cattell participants at the finish line. Fun, food, and activities for everyone!

Jonas Cattell Run & Fort Mercer 5K - 10/24
This is a historical run to commemorate Jonas Cattell's warning Fort Mercer of attack on October 22, 1777. This scenic 10 mile race begins at Mechanic Street and Kings Highway in Haddonfield and ends at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park.
