Highway Safety Task Force

Mission Statement

The Gloucester County Highway Safety Taskforce is dedicated to reducing the number of serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents that occur in our County. The taskforce is a public/private partnership involving community, government and business leaders. Using innovative as well as time tested methods, the Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force seeks to increase public awareness of the significant safety problems confronting our residents. Through education, communication and training, we believe we can make our roadways safer for all of our families and neighbors.

How You Can Help

The Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force is a community-based effort to make our roads safer for everyone. To succeed, we will need the assistance of the people who know Gloucester County and its roads the best; we need you, the people that travel them every day. Just a couple of examples of how you can be involved include:

  • Volunteering to help at community days and other events, as well as contributing ideas, time and energy
  • If you are a business owner, you could assist the Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force by donating goods or services to our community events

If you are interested in participating, please email the Task Force or call 856-384-5635. For more information on the Highway Safety Task Force, please visit the Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force website.
