Clerk of the Board

Much of the history of our county is contained in the many volumes of information stored in the office of the Clerk of the Board.


This office has records dating from 1701 and has taken extraordinary efforts in the last several years to preserve these documents for future generations.

The Clerk of the Board serves as a depository for:

  • Insurance Claims
  • Inventory of County vehicles
  • Legal Documents
  • Minutes of County Commissioner Meetings

Legal notices and meeting agendas are also prepared by this office.
