Whitall House at Red Bank Battlefield Park Closed for Repair

(National Park, NJ) – The Gloucester County Department of Parks and Recreation has temporarily closed the Whitall House at Red Bank Battlefield Park to repair plaster and to remediate some mold issues found during the plaster repairs to the second floor.  Although the house is temporarily closed the park will remain open from dawn to dusk.

The closure is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the many volunteers who serve as docents and help maintain the property.  The repairs are being funded through a grant from the NJ Historic Trust.

The Whitall House is expected to be open within three weeks.
