Gloucester County Will Hold Ceremony to Commemorate Memorial Day

WHAT:   The Official County Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  This hour-long ceremony includes a US Flag Folding Ceremony, the Cemetery Honor Guard, Marine Corps League, Wreath Laying, Gun Salute and Taps.  Last year over 300 people attended. There will be limited seating under the Committal Shelter. The public should bring lawn chairs and come early. This ceremony is open to everyone.

WHERE:

Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 South Tuckahoe Road, Monroe Township

If the weather is dry, parking will be available onsite. In case of inclement weather, parking will be limited to handicapped tags/placards only. In either case parking will be available at the Williamstown High School which is located on Tuckahoe Road approximately one mile from the cemetery. The County has provided shuttle buses to take guests to and from the ceremony.
