MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY Gloucester County walks for Autism

WHAT:  Second Annual Gloucester County Walk for Autism Research

More than 3,000 walkers will be championing the cause to advance and accelerate autism research.  The goal of the Autism Walk is raise awareness of the fastest-growing developmental disability in the United States and to raise funds for research to help find a cure for autism.

Besides walking to raise money for autism research, there will be Jazzercise warm-ups, moon bounce jumping, relaxing massages and much more.  There will be plenty to do for everyone! The Walk itself is a one and a half mile loop.  Golf carts will be available to take walkers back to the Walk start area if needed.

To date the walk has raised $52,334.75 which is 26% of the goal of $200,000.00.  The top fundraising teams are:
