Phillie Phanatic and Finley the Rivershark Will Visit the Gloucester County Library

(Mullica Hill, NJ)- The Gloucester County Board of Freeholders invite residents and their families to meet and greet the Phillie Phanatic and Finley the Rivershark at the Library on July 31st.  Children’s activities are planned for the evening which begins at 6 pm and the mascots are scheduled to appear from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. 

Celebrate baseball at the Mullica Hill branch of the Gloucester County Library System on Monday, July 31st when the mascots for the Philadelphia Phillies and Camden Riversharks will be appearing to help promote the county’s participation in the American Library Association’s Step Up To The Plate At Your Library. 

Step Up To The Plate At Your Library is a baseball trivia game where one grand-prize winner will win a trip to the Hall of Fame's World Series Game One Gala event in Cooperstown, N.Y., in October.  Participants are encouraged to visit their local library to learn the answers to the trivia questions.  To play the trivia game, go to http://www.ala.org/ala/pio/campaign/sponsorship/stepuptotheplateyourlibrary/stepup.htm and Click on “How to Play the Game” for an explanation.
