Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity Mosquito Eating Fish Stocked in County Detention Basins

What: The Gloucester County Department of Parks (Mosquito Control Division) will be stocking Mosquito Fish at various detention basins throughout the county. These fish are a natural means of controlling mosquitoes. The fish are supplied by the NJ State Mosquito Control Commission. Throughout the county 1805 Gambusia Affinis and 2768 Fat Head Minnows will be stocked.
When: Wednesday, August 2nd at 12:00 noon
Where: 300 Hollydell Drive, Retention Basin. (The detention basin is 4500 Square Feet and 104 Gambusia Affinis will be stocked). The detention basin is behind the Cerebral Palsy Schoolon Hollydell.
