Flu Shots are still available for Gloucester County residents

The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders would like to remind residents that the county is still offering its Flu Clinics in November and December.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "It is important for residents to get flu shots in order to protect themselves and to help prevent others around them from getting sick. With the flu as infectious as it is said to be this season, the health of our residents is a priority."

Freeholder Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Health and Senior Services, said, "Our program continues to run very efficiently and we are pleased that we had ample vaccines to offer our residents."

Freeholder Jefferson noted that there is no out-of-pocket cost for a flu shot, which are available to Gloucester County residents only.
