Women entrepreneurs and business owners visit the SJ Tech Park

(Mullica Hill, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development and Workforce Development Board, discussed the County's small business loan fund and other business incentives that the county offers with women entrepreneurs and business owners during a tour of the Rowan Tech Park.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "This event provided an opportunity for women to come together and network with each other, building strong relationships with other women in positions of power who can then support each other and learn from each other."

Freeholder Heather Simmons said, "Supporting small businesses is important for our county and something we have prided ourselves on. We continue to educate, so that every small business no matter who it is owned by, knows about the small business loan fund and other business incentives that the county offers."

Simmons said, “But networking with this community of women is empowering, because we can relate and support each other in a unique way.”
