Parent Education Workshop Offered
(Williamstown, NJ) – The Gloucester County Commission forWomen and The Arc Gloucester are cosponsoring a Parent Education Workshop onTuesday, May 21 from 6 to 9:00 p.m. at the Sunshine Inn at Camp Sun 'N Fun, 1036North Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
The topic for this year's event will be "NJ ABLEAccounts: A Tax-Free Savings Program to Support Individuals withIntellectual and Developmental Disabilities."
The ABLE Act (Achieving a Better Life Experience) was signedinto law in New Jersey in January 2016. With NJ ABLE, individuals cansave for qualified disability expenses without losing their eligibility forcertain assistance programs such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) andMedicaid. The guest speaker will be Adam Wilson, Esquire, from Hinkle,Fingles, Prior and Fischer, Attorneys at Law.
