New WAWA grand opening featured hoagie building competition between Mantua PD and Mantua FD

(Mantua Twp., NJ) – On Saturday, June 21 Freeholder Jim Jefferson attended the grand opening of the super Wawa into the Mantua community on the corner of Woodbury-Glassboro Road/Lambs Road in Mantua Township (former Clancy's Restaurant). This new Wawa is right down the street from the Edelman Fossil Park.

Freeholder Jefferson said a few words in the grand opening Wawa festivities.  Customers received free Coffee all day and there was a hoagie building competition between Mantua Township Police Department and Mantua Township Fire Department.  Presentation of the trophy was made to the Mantua Township Police Department, winner of hoagie building contest.

Presentation of $1,000 checks to each of the Mantua Twp. Fire and Mantua Twp. Police Department's charity of choice were made for their participation in the event.
