Sanctuary Recovery center hosts first alumni night

(Cherry Hill, NJ) -- On Dec. 19, 207 Freeholder Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services, spoke at The Sanctuary Recovery Center in Cherry Hill regarding his experiences in fighting the opioid epidemic during the center’s first alumni night.

The event included two alumni speakers, a guest speaker, and a statement from Freeholder Jim Jefferson.

Freeholder Jefferson said, “It was an honor to speak to a group of Sanctuary alumni about the services our county provides to assist in ending the opioid epidemic and to talk about my personal experience combating this growing issue.”

The Sanctuary, located on North Kings Highway, provides drug and alcohol rehabilitation on partial care and intensive outpatient levels. The center serves men and women 18 and up from a variety of locations for treatment and works to promote healthy recovery in all of its patients.
