Senior Services Holiday Feast brings joy to local seniors

(Deptford, NJ) – The Gloucester County Division of Senior Services held their annual Holiday Feast this month with over 1,800 seniors attending four different sittings. The events, held at Auletto Caterers, provided seniors with a buffet lunch, live music, dancing, entertainment, and prizes.

Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to the Department of Economic Development and Public Works attended the event.

Freeholder Simmons said, “Being able to host this event for our senior members of the community is a special thing, but being able to attend this event and sit with them is a whole different experience. There stories are remarkable and this event provided them with a time to sit, have lunch, meet new people, and learn more about each other while welcoming the holiday season.”
