New Donor Wall unveiled at Gloucester County Animal Shelter’s Annual Open House

(Clayton, NJ) - The new Donor Wall, located in the lobby of the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, was unveiled this weekend at the Animal Shelter’s annual open house.

Freeholder Dan Christy, liaison to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter said, “We wanted to recognize all of those who have made a big impact on the shelter and the creation of the Spay and Neuter Clinic and for that reason we have created a donor wall.”

Christy said, “Donations really made the construction of the spay and neuter clinic possible and we wanted to recognize our contributors for their generosity.”

There are currently 86 tiles total on the wall, with 65 tiles purchased by donors that gave $1,000 or more to GCAS. Twenty-one tiles are from ongoing donors and residents that purchased a tile for a loved one or a pet.

All dogs and cats adopted from the GCAS include spay/neuter and all age appropriate vaccines, microchip and collar and tags. Adoption costs for dogs are $125 and cats are $95. There is a $35 discount for senior citizens and veterans.

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter is located at 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton.
