96 year old woman earns her high school proficiency diploma

(Elmer, NJ) – On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Mrs. Leona L. Paulus (affectionately known as "Auntie Lee" Paulus) achieved something that she has desired since she was forced to quit school at the age of 12; she earned her high school proficiency diploma by taking the test offered by Educational Testing Service (ETS).

Mrs. Leona L. Paulus earned a GED through Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center, the company that provides training to many of Gloucester County's Job Center residents at their new building they purchased from the county in Woodbury.

They also provide training to many of prisoners now housed in Salem and Cumberland Counties on site at the jails.

Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center is extremely proud that they used their online system, Edmentum, to prepare her for the test.
