Washington Township students recognized for their first place win

(Woodbury, NJ) – Freeholder Lyman Barnes (far right) presented a proclamation last night, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, to members of the Washington Township team who were the first place winners of the 21st Annual Gloucester County Consumer Bowl.  The students went on to the South Jersey Regional Competition in April.

Freeholder Lyman Barnes, Liaison to the Department of Consumer Protection said, "These students are our future business leaders and consumers and they will certainly be a driving force of the economy. Their preparedness in the world is based upon the education they receive in the classroom and we want it to translate to real life experiences.  I am proud of their level of knowledge."
