Gloucester County parks events scheduled for April and May announced

(Clayton, NJ) –Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Frank J. DiMarco announced today the various events scheduled at the Gloucester County Parks throughout the months of April and May.   

Director Damminger said, "From a nice bird walk at Scotland Run Park to the spring festival at the Whitall House, all the different events held at our parks are a perfect opportunity to put down the cell phone and breathe in the fresh spring air." 

Freeholder Frank J. DiMarco, liaison to the Department of Parks and Recreation, stated, “The staff in our parks and recreation department puts together both educational and recreational events and programs so that our families can enjoy more time outdoors.” 

DiMarco said that the county has many recreational programs lined up this spring. The programs are also listed in the county's newsletter that will be mailed to households throughout the week. The events can also be viewed online at www.gloucestercountynj.gov and clicking on County Newsletter or checking the event calendar.
