Mantua and Paulsboro receive new buses for senior and disabled transportation

Gloucester County Freeholders presented new buses to Mantua and Paulsboro today as part of the County's Capital Transit Investment Plan (CTIP).

The Freeholder Board instituted the CTIP bus match program, a 50% dollar match with the municipalities, in 1992 to assist municipalities with the purchase of new buses. CTIP provides county funds to municipalities for the purpose of providing transportation to senior citizens and persons with disabilities.  These buses cost each municipality $38,604.
