Poem Written by Veteran

(Sewell, NJ) – Freeholder Deputy Director Chila, Liaison to Veterans Affairs and Freeholder Heather Simmons accepted a plaque today from Korean War Veteran Mr. James (Jim) Dougherty, his fiancé Peggy Culbert of Sewell and Ed Munin, owner of The Frame Shop in Glassboro.

Mr. Dougherty had written a poem called "Lest We Forget" and had it framed.  It is hung in the Veterans Affairs Office, where it can be seen and appreciated by the many veterans that pass through the doors. The framing was donated by Ed Munin, whose Father was also a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran.
