Gloucester County Autism Walk on Saturday Oct. 4 at RiverWinds
(Woodbury, NJ) – The Annual Gloucester County Autism Walk will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at RiverWinds Community Center.
Freeholder Lyman Barnes, Liaison to Education and Freeholder Adam Taliaferro said that the funds raised for this event goes toward programs that help Gloucester County children and families who are affected by Autism and educators who teach the children.
Freeholder Barnes said, “The programs and education the children receive through the Gloucester County Special Services School District are exceptional and the funds raised through the Autism Walk help support initiatives that go beyond the classroom like social skills training, respite care and workshops for parents.”

In person registration is from 9 – 11 a.m. and the walk begins promptly at 11 a.m. RiverWinds Community Center is located at 1000 RiverWinds Dr, West Deptford, NJ.
