Heritage Day this Sunday ‘The Whitalls and War’
(National Park, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Frank J. DiMarco announced that the next Heritage Day at the James and Ann Whitall House will take place this Sunday, July 20 from 12 to 4 pm rain or shine.
Sunday's free event will focus on The "Whitalls at War" and will feature special tours centering on how this quiet Quaker plantation was turned upside down in 1777.
The day will feature hearth cooking demonstrations, tours of the house, and tours of the gardens.
The Whitall House is located at Red Bank Battlefield, 100 Hessian Ave. National Park, NJ 08063. The event is free and parking is free.
