Environmental Planning

The Environmental Planning Sections deals with a number of activities related to improving and/or maintaining the County's environmental quality, including air quality, water supply, flood migration, freshwater wetlands, hazardous waste, watershed planning, water quality, stormwater management, West Nile Virus and monitoring.

The Environmental Planning Section cooperates with the United States Envirnomental Protection Agency (USEPA), New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Agency (NJDEP), United States Geological Survey (USGS), Pinelands Commission, Gloucester County Soil Conservation District, Gloucester County Department of Health and Institutions, and Rowan University in developing and implementing watershed and stormwater management plans.
