Unsolved Homicide

On Friday, January 20, 2006, at a home in Washington Township, South Jersey, three children in the Cuevas family were held hostage for several hours.  The children were held until their father, Juan Cuevas, known to his family and friends as “June” came home.  Cuevas was subsequently beaten to death.  Four subjects, who are believed to be African-American or Hispanic, fled from the residence at 6:00 PM.  “June” was a husband of 20 years, long-time business owner of G.I. June Auto Parts, located at 2101 Germantown Avenue, and a long-time friend of the North Philadelphia community. 

A $8,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the death of Juan M. Cuevas.
