Bwana Jim

Bwana Jim is an experienced animal handler filled with enthusiasm and wit. He presents a crazy and educational wildlife show. Bwana Jim specializes in reptiles such as snakes, alligators, and turtles, as well as, other animals such as armadillos, wallabies and exotic birds.

Water Fest

The 22nd annual Water Fest is the County's largest environmental fair featuring live animal shows, exibits, crafts, food, canoeing and kayaking. Live music provided by the Ian Goode Trio during the event.

Bio Blitz

If you want you enjoy a nice day exploring natural attractions while helping the local science community please join us. Our Bio Blitz is a 24 hour event that focuses on identifying and quantifying as many species as possible in Scotland Run Park. The community and researchers work together to learn more about local biodiversity. The public is welcome to pitch a tent and stay overnight!

Butterfly Festival at Red Bank Battlefield

Join us for a day full of fall family fun including a straw bale maze, games, crafts and more. Then stop in for a tour of the "spooky" Whitall House.

Enjoy battle reenactments, colonial demonstrators, vendors, food, and fun! Learn about the Battle of Red Bank and why New Jersey is called “The Crossroads of the American Revolution.” Tour the Whitall House and visit with our hearth cookers preparing delicious fall-inspired food. Take in a spectacular sword fight and enjoy a colonial magic show. Cheer on the Jonas Cattell Run participants at the finish line. Fun, food, and activities for everyone!

Jonas Cattell Run

The 50th anniversary of this historical run to commemorate Jonas Cattell's warning Fort Mercer of attack on October 22, 1777.
This scenic 10 mile race begins at Mechanic Street and Kings Highway in Haddonfield and ends at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park.

In addition, we will kick off our inaugural Fort Mercer 5K run. This race begins and ends at Red bank Battlefield.
